About the Event

Most potent human rights, community welfare and philanthropy conclave on the foothills of the Himalayas, ever! The Conclave is organised by Human Rights Protection Group and MFP Federation, an organisation in Special Consultative Status with the United Nations ECOSOC. 

#LeaveNoOneBehind International Conclave on Human Rights, Community Welfare, Philanthropy and UN Sustainable Development Goals is aimed at:

  • Bringing the real human rights heroes, community welfare activists & philanthropists on one platform
  • Exchange of ideas and brainstorming sessions on how to innovate to get to the solutions of the human rights challenges and concerns
  • Honoring activists for their role & contribution in the field of human rights and community welfare
  • Draw the attention towards, focus on and form a plan of action to work towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
  • Motivate youth and activists around the world to #LeaveNoOneBehind

The first two editions of the Conclave were held at Chandigarh India and were inaugurated by Hon'ble Member of Parliament from Chandigarh, Smt. Kirron Kher and Lt.Governor of Puducherry HE Smt. Kiran Bedi respectively. Both the editions of the Conclave received registrations from over 100 countries. NITI Aayog's Advisor - SDGs, Shri Ashok Kumar Jain delivered the keynote address of the first edition while MLA Kanwar Sandhu delivered the keynote address of the second edition. The Conclave has been approved by Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India through its Political Clearance. The Conclave is  endorsed by Shri Arvind Kejriwal - Hon'ble Chief Minister of Delhi and activist Gurmehar Kaur. Speakers of the first two editions included Smt. Kiran Bedi, Smt. Kirron Kher, UNFPA Rep to India Representative - Argentina Matavel Piccin, Singer Rabbi Shergill, AAP MLA (Late) Jarnail Singh, Dr. Suneeta Mukherjee - former United Nations rep to Maldives, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, Mrs. Sudha Sharma - former Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, S. RS Ghuman - former DIG, Chandigarh Police, among others.

Location: The Conclave is held in the city of Chandigarh, India. Chandigarh is a Union Territory in India that also serves as the capital of the neighbouring states of Punjab & Haryana. One of the early planned cities in post-independence India, it is internationally known for its architecture and urban design. City's master plan was prepared by Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier, which transformed from earlier plans created by the Polish architect Maciej Nowicki & the American planner Albert Mayer. In 2015, an article published by BBC named Chandigarh as one of the few master-planned cities in the world to have succeeded in terms of combining monumental architecture, cultural growth and modernisation.Chandigarh's Capitol Complex was in July 2016 declared by UNESCO as World Heritage at the 40th session of World Heritage Conference held in Istanbul. Chandigarh has one of the highest per capita incomes in the country. Reported to be one of the cleanest cities in India, the union territory also heads the list of Indian states and territories according to Human Development Index.Per a 2015 study, Chandigarh is named as the happiest city in India.
